Do you want to contribute to the design & development of life-saving medical devices for global markets? My client is an Irish medical devices R&D and Manufacturing company based in Galway. They are growing and seeking to hire an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to work alongside an experienced team of design engineers to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities:

Work on new and existing product design & development projects

Support project teams in general activities related to ongoing product design & development

Design, development, build, and testing of products
-
Specifying/designing, developing, and testing the equipment and processes to manufacture and test these products
-
Documenting project activities in line with the company’s product and process development procedures

Effective liaison with, and support of, other in-house departments as necessary
Requirements:
-
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a Mechanical Engineering role

Excellent communication skills including the ability to write and present concise technical reports
