Automation Controls Engineer with 5 years’ experience in an automated environment & experience working with industrial robotics required to support Automation projects throughout the manufacturing process. You will drive continuous safety improvement and have a passion for new technologies and automation process control

Responsibilities: 

• Provide support to run and maintain the automation systems in production
• Support systems for machine networks to ensure site backups and recovery procedures
• Installing and placing new or upgraded equipment into operation
• Develops innovative solutions for automation problems and shows problem solving abilities
• Ensure compliance with and maintenance of SOP’s and technical documentation

Requirements: 

• Degree level qualification or equivalent in Controls, Electrical, Electronic, or similar
• Over 5 years’ experience in an automated environment with a proven track record of success
• PLC key skills using Rockwell and Siemens PLC’s having skills using TIA portal software, RS Logix, or Studio 5000
• Experience with industrial robots
• Knowledge and experience with EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet and ASi communication networks
• Design of control systems including safety related system
• Have a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and a passion for new technologies in automation and process control
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
