Controls Automation Engineer required to join a collaborative team of engineers where you will work on the design of high-tech engineering applications for multiple sectors

REQUIREMENTS:

• PLC & HMI experience desirable, preferably with Allen Bradley

• Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development

• Ability to create technical documentation

• Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision and pneumatics an advantage

• Excellent communication skills

• Proactive and energetic approach

• Strong organisational skills

• A quality-minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude

• Needs to work well in a multifunctional team

• Driving Licence and ability to travel

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision
• Develop, test, commission & support machine control software
• Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients’ standards
• Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)
• Specification of control system components
• Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle
