Customer Program Manager (Electronics) required by IoT multinational in Clare to define the product roadmap & manage customer-facing technical and engineering requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving product innovation and growth and have strong leadership skills. Reporting to the GM, this role will be responsible for identifying market opportunities and assisting in shaping the overall strategy for the division.  You will collaborate with the business development, sales engineering, marketing and program management teams to deliver customer-driven use-case products that consistently exceed expectations.  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in management and customer/technical-facing roles
  • Experience in the Electronics / IoT industry
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative products 
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams towards common goals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product

  • Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, aligning with the company’s overall strategic objectives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing and operations to define product requirements and prioritize initiatives
  • Drive product innovation and differentiation
  • Develop customer use-cases and go-to-market strategies for new product offerings, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive adoption and revenue growth
  • Create relevant value proposition for products
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track product performance, identify areas for improvement and optimize product offerings
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, partners and industry experts to gather feedback and insights that inform product strategy
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events, as well as participate in customer meetings as necessary

Team

  • Provide direct Tier 1 customer support, offering exceptional consultation and technical assistance to our valued customers
  • Support our sales team by providing application sales support for our product lines
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate technical information to customers
  • Provide technical support to other departments
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for both internal staff and customers to ensure a high level of product and application expertise
  • Provide technical oversight and support for the project manager and senior engineering lead
  • Provide input and direction developing the engineering team as the company grows
  • Build and manage a customer support team, empowering them to create support materials such as FAQs, videos, documentation, manuals and training materials
