Design Chip Lead with 6+ years of Top-level Design, digital and mixed signal design experience required for permanent role in Limerick



  • In this role, you will be a part of the Digital and Mixed Signal Design team responsible for providing efficient analog and digital dc/dc controllers ICs for the consumer, automotive and industrial markets.
  • Work as architect/system engineer with a team of Analog and Digital digital design groups to define the requirements for new efficient dc/dc solutions.
  • Design Digital Toplevel and Verify Toplevel Digital and Analog designs.
  • Work with the chip integration team to successfully integrate digital and analog IP at chip level.
  • Support bench bring-up and test plans and validate/characterize/debug designs into high volume production.



  • BE or ME or PhD
  • Required 6+ years of Toplevel Design, digital and mixed signal design experience.
  • Familiar with Verilog-AMS mixed signal mode verification methodology.
  • Solid background and knowledge in Verilog RTL.
  • Interested in system design and how this translates to analog design requirements and propose innovative and creative solutions where necessary to meet customer needs.
  • Familiar with Verilog-AMS mixed signal mode verification methodology.
  • Familiar System Verilog and UVM for verification.
  • Experience working with cross site teams and contractors.
  • Experience with Digital Synthesis, STA, Place and Route
  • Interfacing with verification, process, test, program management, layout and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release.
  • Demonstrated track record for bringing Digital/Mixed-Signal designs into high volume production.
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Cadence.
  • Matlab and/or SIMPLIS experience is a plus.


  • Power Management expertise is desirable, not required
