Electrical Design Engineer required to join a team of experienced Engineers in Galway to work on Electrical Design and delivery of automation projects. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering 

• Familiarity with machine elements such as PLC’s, AC/DC motors, servo motors, VSD’s, Safety Systems and pneumatics

• Experience of using electrical design software packages

• An understanding of electrical control methodologies

• You should be self-motivated and driven to deliver results

• You should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing electrical designs for automation projects
• Detailing electrical schematics for build
• Sourcing of electrical components for designs
• Delivery of electrical designs to facilitate the manufacture of automated equipment
• Creating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs
• Assisting in electrical debug of systems
• Liaising with customers & suppliers
• Meeting project delivery deadlines
