Electronic Engineering Manager required by innovative IoT company to oversee the industrial design, electrical & mechanical engineering & transfer to producton of disruptive products for global markets. 


    • Owning architecture selection, electrical design, and validation
    • Leading large projects from idea to positive execution
    • Validating design through functional verification, signal characterization, power modelling / test, and system coexistence testing
    • Deriving technical specifications based on product level requirements
    • Setting factory test requirements, assisting in software bring up and traveling on-site to the manufacturer to ensure the design is built and tested successfully through the NPI Process
    • Working closely with Firmware, industrial design, mechanical engineering and operations teams
    • Researching technologies and scope development opportunities
    • Communicating cross-functionally to deliver a successful product to market
    • Supporting team level objectives as well as individual contributors
    • Supporting Sourcing and Procurement teams to vet supply chain and production partners
    • Work as an active member of the team, ensure effective communication between colleagues and positively contribute regularly to meetings and briefings


    • Honour’s Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering
    • 10+ years experience working in electronic / electrical design 
    • Leadership experience as a technical people manager 
    • Experience with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially USB, SPI, I2C, RS485, CAN and UART), sensor design, low power design, various RF technologies
    • Experience with eCAD tools (Altium preferred)
    • Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support
    • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including the ability to design and verify circuits
    • Experience taking a product from design to full product release
    • Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
    • Ability to propose solutions to issues
