Electronic Technician with 3 years PCB debug experience required for permanent role in Co. Offaly.  Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Electronic Technician will be responsible for:

  • Debug, repair and hardware test/validation
  • Debugging, testing and repairing boards using established test procedures and troubleshooting to component level
  • Technical support to engineering, including such activities as: implementing ECO’s, jig/fixture fabrication, Electro-mechanical system maintenance, and using specialised test equipment
  • Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
  • Repair of RMA’s and associated reporting documentation with an emphasis on identification of failure trends
  • Uphold the quality of the product and carefully document any deviations from the norm


  • Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Electronics
  • 3 years’ experience in PCB debug
  • Excellent troubleshooting and soldering/de-soldering skills – including the ability to solder PCB fine pitch components
  • Strong understanding of microprocessor, digital and analog circuitry
  • Working knowledge of basic test equipment such as multi-meter and digital/analog oscilloscopes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland
