EMEA Customer Quality Leader required by IoT multinational to manage and address all Product and Parts Quality issues in the field – Galway
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related discipline
-
6 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing environment
-
Expertise in customer quality, supplier quality or operations
-
Proficient in contemporary Quality tools such as QMS, AQP, Six Sigma, SPC, PPAP, etc.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Strong customer service orientation

Apply and understand quality models and theories, basic statistical techniques, problem solving and prevention, project management and planning tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage two-way communication and information flow between the Dealer network / Customer base and the Manufacturing facilities / Engineering functions on all Quality and reliability issues
- Work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure Customer complaints are identified, contained, resolved, and sustained as soon as possible
- Coordinate containment and corrective and preventive actions in conjunction with all related functional groups and provide feedback to customer
- Implement, review, and improve quality system procedures which support Trane Technology’s strategic initiative to improve the customer experience
- Work directly with the EMEA service team, Manufacturing sites and Engineering functions to get support and alignment on customer impacting issues leading to early resolution
- Support ICQ target setting process SBU, plant and product value streams and with annual forecasting and monthly R&O reviews with all stakeholders
- Manage the Early Launch Containment Plans (ELCP) for new product releases, incorporating all functions to ensure early feedback and fast resolution of issues are reported
- Support daily claims reviews and Triage process, to ensure effective governance and standard work adherence that leads to early resolution
- Interface with vendor recovery leads to ensure recovery entitlement
- Support the warranty spend and productivity processes in regions of sales, producing monthly reports, warranty spend and pipeline health, glide path governance v’s AOP targets
- Visit customers/dealers in region (e.g. support regional sales & services teams) as required and support them in improvement projects
