Graduate Electronic Design Engineer required for permanent role with growing consumer electronics company in South Dublin
Responsibilities:
- Embedded programming – mostly in C and Assembler for 8-bit microcontrollers (ST family)
- Hardware design (analog, digital, PCB layout, BOMs, 3 phase)
- Designing for manufacture (understanding production / supply chain issues)
- Building prototypes to proof the concept (wiring, crimping, SMT soldering)
- Understanding basic thermodynamics physics (water heating / pumping)
Ability to trouble-shoot / support production (practical use of oscilloscope, multi-meter) - Supporting subcontractors (BOMs, Gerber files)
- Design for CE/UL approval
Requirements:

Graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering

Exposure to some of the following through studies: Embedded programming, C programming, Assembler for 8-bit microcontrollers, hardware design (analog, digital, PCB layout, BOM’s, 3 phase), building protoypes (wiring, crimping, SMT soldering), basic thermodynamic physics (water heating, pumping)
