Mechanical Design Engineer required by growing IoT multinational in Wexford. Joining a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical & embedded software engineers, you will gain exposure to multiple projects & also get the opportunity to travel to sister sites overseas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant field
• Proven skills and experience in Product Design
• Experience in multinational environment
• Proven ability of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new products 
• Convert design specifications into market leading high performance, high reliability new products
• Ensure that innovative features and solutions are delivered with new designs
• Lead Product Development projects according to best practice Project Management methods
• Design calculations for components and systems using established design tools including FEA
• Prototype building and testing to validate designs
• Report interpretation and analysis of results
• Prepare detailed technical presentations for engineering reviews and decision
