Mechatronics Engineer with experience in the design & development of electromechanical systems within highly regulated environments required by innovative tech company in Dublin

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design and develop cutting-edge solutions that integrate mechanical, electrical and software engineering components

• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of these solutions

• Formulate control algorithms

• Refine and articulate requirements, drafting specifications for both internal and external stakeholder

• Maintain meticulous documentation of design specifications, test outcomes and technical analyses

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical and Systems Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechatronic system design

• Experience with design of robotics or aerospace equipment ideal

• Expertise in designing and developing electromechanical systems within highly regulated environments

• Extensive understanding of manufacturing technologies, complemented by hands-on experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and New Product Introduction (NPI) procedures

• Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping techniques

• Solid comprehension of motion planning algorithms, control theory & dynamics
  Experience with embedded systems programming, particularly in C/C++

• Familiarity with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2
