Principal Analog Design Engineer
Job Description
Principal Analog IC Design Engineer required by Semiconductor multinational in Dublin. You will join a new team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Automotive SoC products. These systems are at the heart of the future.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take ownership of circuit block feasibility, system design, simulation and verification.
- Lead planning and scheduling activities for your areas of a project.
- Design analog circuits such as converters, amplifiers, oscillators, references and regulators.
- Collaborate with layout teams for successful physical implementation.
- Generate required documentation and modeling (LEF, dotlib, EMIR views, etc.).
- Develop and execute test plans for silicon validation and debug.
- Engage with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, CAD, Functional Safety and Test.
- Contribute to functional safety analysis and incorporate results into system requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:

PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2–4 years experience OR Master’s with 3–5 years OR Bachelor’s with 5–7 years industry experience

Proven expertise in analog and linear circuit design

Hands-on experience with converters, amplifiers, regulators, references, or oscillators

Fluency in English and excellent team collaboration skills
