Principal Controls Automation Engineer required to join a collaborative team of engineers where you will work on the design of high-tech engineering applications for multiple sectors

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years experience with PLC & HMI programming

• Expertise in automated machine design, specification and development.
• Demonstrated experience in robotics, motion control, machine vision and pneumatics.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proactive, energetic, and motivated approach.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Quality-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a multifunctional team.

• Driving Licence and ability to travel

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and integrate control system software for automated machines, encompassing PLCs, robotics, motion control, HMI, SCADA, and vision systems.
• Develop, test, commission and maintain machine control software.
• Specify and select control system components.
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary project team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Offer technical guidance and support to other members of the controls team.
• Assist the Technical Writer in preparing validation documentation for regulated industries, such as URS, FDS and FAT.
