We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join our team in aerospace technology in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Easy Access Rules 945 and 947 across both EASA and FAA domains. They will work closely with the Head of Regulation to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and that the company operates within the legal framework set out by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Quality & Compliance Management System for the aerospace technology devices, ensuring that it meets the requirements of both EASA and FAA regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Easy Access Rules 945 and 947, including regular audits of the company’s operations, design organisation and production procedures.
  • Liaise with the Head of Regulation and other key stakeholders to ensure that the company remains up-to-date with any changes to the regulatory framework and that all changes are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Develop and deliver training to staff on compliance-related topics.
  • Develop and install QA functions within operations, design organisation and Production for their respective Heads.
  • Conduct internal audits to identify areas where improvements can be made and implement changes as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to the company’s operations, design organisation and production teams to ensure that they are operating within the regulatory framework.
  • Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure that the company meets all compliance requirements in operations, design organisation and production.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Head of Regulation and other key stakeholders as required.
  • Manage the company’s risk assessment process to identify and mitigate any potential compliance-related risks.
  • Achieve ISO certification standard for our client’s across operations, design organisation and production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Aviation, Engineering or Law.
  • A minimum of +5 years’ experience in a compliance or regulatory role, with specific experience in the drone/UAV space.
  • An in-depth understanding of the Easy Access Rules 945 and 947, and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • A good understanding of both EASA and FAA regulations, and the ability to work across both domains.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and company staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance-related risks.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough audits and identify areas where improvements can be made.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A strong commitment to professional development and a willingness to keep up-to-date with changes to the regulatory framework.
