Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst with 5+ years post qualification experience & Lean Six Sigma Certification required by growing multinational in Galway city. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the successful candidate will have a strong strategic mindset and be passionate about regulatory compliance within medical devices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a ‘Change Agent’ in the introduction of lean tools & principles in manufacturing and drive/sustain improvements 
  • Assist in the identification and organization of resources required to achieve successful initiative/project implementation 

  • Monitor and critically review progress of value streams against plans and achievement of continuous improvement against key performance operations assessment criteria

  • Identify and highlight further opportunities in delivering improvements in process performance along with identifying opportunities in methodologies that sustain gains

  • Assist in the definition of project scoping and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility of Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Assist the project manager in the successful planning, scheduling and completion of continuous improvement projects

  • Develop skill levels of site personnel to implement and sustain Continuous Improvement

  • Champion creating continuous flow in multiple process environment

  • Critically review batch production processes and identify opportunities to reduce lead time, reduce inventory, drive efficiency improvement and improve service levels

Requirements:

  • Level 8 Degree qualified ideally in the Industrial Engineering field or equivalent
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • 5+ years post qualification experience in a continuous improvement role
  • Experience rolling out & embedding Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, motivational and influencing skills
  • Experience supporting successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards with all improvement efforts
  • Demonstrated self-direction & organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
