Senior Electronic Design Engineer required by market-leading MedTech multinational in North Dublin to design complex medical machinery for global markets. You will be a key contributor to the design of highly sophisticated medical devices comprising of multiple components, including motion controllers, robotics, thermoelectric devices, microcontrollers, transducers, power devices, optics, fluidics & sensors.

You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers – Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mechanical, Software, Firmware, System Integration & Scientists.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 8 Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronic or similar discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in the role of Electrical / Electronic design engineer
• 2+ years experience in the design of highly complex devices involving robotics (pick & place)
• Analog circuit design experience
• Digital circuit design experience
• Good knowledge of EMC
• Control System Engineering knowledge (tuning motors, PID control)
• Strong troubleshooting experience
• Available for on-site work in North Dublin

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality electrical / electronic products
• Produce electrical & electronic design solutions to improve product performance and reliability including all verification and validation activities
• Competent with Product Lifecycle Management control systems for configuration control
