Senior Electronic Engineer required for developing final design specifications of a prototyped design, and supporting manufacturing process development with key vendors. Reporting to the CTO, you will get the opportunity to work across all stages of device development. You should have a hands-on approach to projects with a motivated attitude and strong work ethic. An ability to work and adapt in a flexible and fast paced environment is essential.
Responsibilities:

Manage and fulfil day to day R&D activities of product design, development, manufacture and testing of a novel device, from concept stage through to regulatory approval

Liaise and support vendors during early stage manufacturing development of delivery catheter components and PCB/CMOS technology integration

Create Design History File documentation as required by ProVerum quality system and regulatory requirements

Provide technical leadership to the R&D team, promote technical innovation and high standard of engineering

Liaise with other function leaders and managers to communicate R&D activities in line with R&D strategy

Support CTO in with technical demonstrations, data, presentations

Support the CTO in managing the innovation process, invention disclosure and IP filing
Requirements:

Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline

10 years’ experience in medical device industry in a related role

Experience with PCB design and integration, imaging sensor technology integration, moulding, micro moulding, catheter technology

Familiarity with a broad range of electronic components and hardware, including analog, power, microcontrollers, memories, logic, signal conditioning, and communication interfaces

Experience with electronic test equipment

Experience with schematic capture packages and layout tools

Familiarity with analog, RF and/or high-speed PCBA designs (such as communications) at the schematic and PCB-design level

Project planning skills

Demonstrated leadership experience managing R&D projects

Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
