Senior Hardware Design Engineer with 5+ years experience required in Dublin to work on cutting-edge design for the global semiconductor market. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of  hardware systems. Collaborating closely with the Principal Architect, you will be responsible for creating detailed design specifications, developing robust hardware architectures, and performing rigorous testing to ensure that systems meet all functional and quality requirements.

In this senior role, you will work closely with all R&D disciplines to ensure that new hardware sub-systems are both functionally and aesthetically integrated into the overall product, ensuring seamless integration and addressing any issues that arise in the field. As a key member of the team, you will lead projects from a technical perspective, make independent decisions on hardware design, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS in Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics / Related field

• 5+ years’ experience working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment

• Experienced in design, development, and test of analogue & digital circuits / PCBA

• Design for Test, Design for Manufacture

• Experience working to regulatory requirements CE/EMC/EMI

• Strong understanding of embedded software development (C/C++)

• Excellent communication (written & oral) and teamwork skills

• Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of RF design and integration considered a plus (WIFI, BLE)

• Experienced in various communication protocols considered a plus (I2C, UART, SPI)
