Senior Machine Learning Engineer required by market-leading multinational in Galway in the development of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning technologies for Imaging applications
Requirements:
- M.Sc. Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years relevant industry experience in the development and productization of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning technologies for imaging applications
- Strong experience with applying Machine Learning & Deep learning to Imaging & Multimedia
- Expertise in deep learning-based object detection, object segmentation and object tracking
- Experience with image processing, camera sensors and Computer Vision technologies
- A proven track record of conducting disciplined and productive R&D
- Familiarity with optimising and deploying Machine Learning / Deep learning technologies on embedded ML accelerators
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art Machine Learning, conversant in the latest Machine Learning developments, neural network architectures and training and optimization methods
- Proficiency with deep learning development tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe
- Solid Python and C/C++ programming language skills
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git and development methodologies such as Agile/Kanban
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- A strong drive to solve problems and disrupt the status quo
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland
