As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will lead a team of engineers & design equipment for manufacture for multiple sectors using mainly carbon & steel materials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & mentor a team of junior design engineers
- Liaise with customers
- Design of equipment to specific customer requirements
- Ensure all engineering documentation meets the requirements of internal procedures & strict timelines, including CAD, engineering drawings, BOMs, Calculations, Technical Specifications and other project deliverables
- Ensure that design outputs comply with all relevant design codes and standards
- Undertake continuous improvement activities
Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5+ years experience in mechanical design role in industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing

Excellent materials and design skills

Experience designing Carbon & stainless steel structures

Excellent experience using SolidWorks

Experience & skills in project management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
