Software Manager – MedTech – required by innovative medical devices multinational in Dublin, to lead and develop a high performing Software team and contribute to strategy & roadmap development.

Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will manage a cross-functional team in Embedded C, C++, C#, AI & Software Verification. 

You will contribute to strategy, roadmap development, system integration and on-time product delivery.

You will work on cutting edge software projects delivering AI / Machine Learning solutions to global customers. 

You should be based in Mainland Europe.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical discipline (Electronics / Software / Electrical / Mechatronic)
• 10+ years’ relevant engineering experience
• including 5+ years’ experience in managing a high performing software team
• Experience in a highly regulated environment – Medical Devices, Automotive or Aerospace will be considered
• Must have knowledge of the software development life cycle 
• Strong programming and architectural skills (C, C#, C++)
• Experiencing in leading full stack product development
• Experience with design and implementation of real-time systems over CAN Open or another protocol
• Experience in a cross-functional product development team working with a complex design process incorporating multiple technologies such as fluidics, optics, motion control, electronics, mechanical
