Full Stack Software Tech Lead required by growing Irish IoT company in Co. Clare – to lead a team in developing core platforms for web & mobile applications.
Working with cutting-edge technologies, you will work on an IoT data collection, analytics and visualisation platform with full responsibility for the the full spectrum from Front-End, API development, third-party integration, persistence and messaging to deployment to initial operations.
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Development or similar discipline
- Significant industry experience in designing and developing comprehensive web applications within a microservice-centric architecture
- Extensive experience developing on Linux-based operating systems
- Be competent in SOLID Node.js, javascript, typescript skills
- Highly competent in writing SQL queries (MySQL, SQL Server)
- Extensive experience building and utilising RESTful APIs
- Proven experience developing complex web applications in either Angular, VUE or React
- Experience with a strongly typed language such as C# or Java
- Possess strong git-fu
- Implements automated/unit tests by default
- AWS dev-ops expertise
- Security-focused with a strong understanding of security fundamentals

- Migrating web applications from Angular to React experience
- Microservice architectures

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and guide the software team members in their daily development activities

You will be involved in all aspects of the agile product life cycle from design and implementation through to DevOps

Assist with the development of core platform including web and mobile applications
- Be a key contributor to the steering of a modern, microservices-based platform
- Write clean and SOLID code, covered by automated tests
- Develop back-end systems including integrations, APIs and messaging systems
